Smothered Pork Chops
Serves 8 people
Serving size - 1 chop

Ingredients
2 pounds Pork Chops, thin cut
1 1/2 cup Heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup Parmesean cheese
4 tablespoons Butter
Oil
Onions (optional)
Mushrooms (optional)
Salt
Pepper
Oregano
Basil
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Recipe Instructions
Season pork chops and set aside
Put teaspoon of oil in pan and rub around pan until a thin layer of oil remains.
Heat pan over medium high heat until lightly smoking
Add another tablespoon of oil to the pan and swish around.
Lay pork chops in pan facing away from you and use a press to ensure even browning, careful not to crowd the pan.
Flip occasionally until inside registers 145 degrees.
Remove pork chops from pan and lower heat to medium low.
Pour in heavy cream and scrap fond from the bottom of the pan.
Monitor the cream until it starts to thicken.
Add pork chops and reserved juices into cream and mix
