Sauted Carrots

Serves 4 people

Serving size - 4 oz portion

Ingredients

  • 3 Carrots, cut at an angle into ½ inch slices

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • ¼ cup butter

  • 1 tablespoons brown sugar

  • Squeeze of honey

  • Squeeze of lemon juice

  • Pinch of salt

Recipe Instructions

  1. Peel and cut carrots at an angle into ½ inch slices.

  2. Put carrots and chicken broth into a pan, bring to a boil and cover until water has evaporated.

  3. Add butter, salt, brown sugar, honey and lemon juice to the pan and saute over medium low heat until lightly browned.
