Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar

• 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed

• 3 sticks butter, softened

• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

• 3 eggs

• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

• 2 teaspoons baking soda

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 18 oz semisweet chocolate chips

Recipe Instructions

1. Heat oven to 375°

2. Using an electric mixer, beat granulated sugar, brown sugar and butter together in a large bowl until fluffy.

3. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs until combined.

4. Add flour, baking soda and salt and beat until well combined. Then fold in chocolate chips

5. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and place 1 tablespoon worth of cookie dough on the tray, making sure to keep them 2 inches apart.

6. Bake for 8 minutes, let rest for a few minutes before removing to cooling rack.

Notes

If you'd like to make the cookies bigger, make sure to adjust the cooking time as they may take longer to cook through.
